Glass Half Broken

An analysis of breaking a jar of spaghetti sauce while trying to get my cereal this morning:

Glass half empty:
– Dang.
– I have to clean it up now. ‘Cause I’m an adult. And someone might cut their foot if I don’t.

Glass half full:
– I’m certainly more awake.
– Hey, the kitchen floor has been swept!

This is the kind of view I take as a parent. For example: Crap, he emptied everything out of my tupperware cupboard. Well, at least the tupperware corner is nice and tidy and organized! (Repeat daily. Multiple times.)
